Florida

In just 6 days we will be heading to Florida for Easter! This will be our second Easter with great grandma! Gio is so excited to go back to the beach! We will be there for 8 days and get to see my grandparents and mom as well! I will def be taking tons of pictures and posting them!

Not much has been going on lately! Things at work are picking up again... which is good because i can't stand having holes in my schedule! We have been trying to do more family things, and going out with our friends with kids! Gio loves hanging out with Cam.... when they are together it is so funny! They chase each other around and have a hard time sharing some things... just a taste of what is to come with girls come into the picture! Last Easter we were in Florida with great grandma for a week and had a lot of fun, sooooo we are going back this year! I wish i could move down there, especially the way things are going with my grandfather. He has been sick a long time and is getting worse, but does have some good days. I was able to go down for a few days with my sister to spend time with him. It was great because he had many good days and we even took him to the beach in his wheel chair. If i were down there i would be able to see my mom more, for the time! She has been down for over a month helping take care of grandpa! If i could have one wish right now it would be that he was around for our vacation this Easter. Sound more doubtful everyday, but i hold on to that thought to get through the day! Gio is not really into getting potty trained which is driving me crazy! He went once on the potty for each, but doesn't really have any desire to use it. He rarely tells us when he goes and never wants his diaper changed! On a completely different note, just before Christmas Gio split his lip and chipped his front tooth horsing around in our bedroom. He had one stitch and 2 visits so far to a dentist. He is a handful but i wouldn't change one thing about him. He is so creative and funny, i don't go one day without laughing at him and trying to figure out how he thinks of these things! Thats about it for now... i'm tired! here's a few pics of gio and his bff Cameron!

I can't believe how fast 2 years has gone by! Gio just had his 2nd birthday, and this is my 3rd mothers day! Giovanni is getting so big, and so bad! He loves bubbles and being outside. Right before his birthday we took a vacation to Vero Beach Florida.  This was Gio's first time on an airplane and was amazing! He was and is such an awesome boy! He had no problem on the ride up in the car either! We got stuck in some awful traffic once we got into PA, making our travel time back home to 3 days! Gio got lots of presents... so much clothes he is seriously the best dressed little boy EVER!!  We have lots of activities planned for this summer now that daddy will be around on both Saturday and Sunday.  We are so excited for this summer... if only the weather would cooperate!

Giovanni's 2nd Halloween. He is getting so big and independent! He knows what he likes and what he doesn't want to do! He is running around and coloring non -stop. This year Gio will be superman and will actually go trick or treating.  I'm just hoping the weather cooperates with halloween. I wish he could be around all his nephews and nieces to trick or treat, but thats not an option yet!
